Welcome to Pre-Orientation!

More than 200 students will begin their Duke experience by participating in one of our three pre-orientation programs. Combining experiential education with teambuilding and leadership activities, each program introduces students to Duke in unique environments through interaction with classmates, current students, faculty, and staff.

Registration

Registration for all pre-orientation programs closed at 11:59pm on Sunday, June 15th.  Please note - online registration and deposit does not confirm your spot in a program. Confirmation will be provided in late June once all registration materials have been received. Please do not purchase a non-refundable airline ticket until you receive confirmation of your enrollment.

Deposit and Payment

Pre-orientation requires a deposit of $50 paid via credit card during registration.  This deposit is refundable only until June 15th should your plans change and prevent you from attending pre-orientation.  Deposits must be made at the time of registration for all students - the deposit does not qualify for financial aid.  If you are not accepted into a program due to space limitations your full deposit will be refunded to your credit card.  If you are unable to make a credit card payment for your deposit, please contact us immediately to make alternate arrangements.  Full payment for pre-orientation programs will be due at the time that your registration confirmation is given in late June, due no later than July 15th.  Those who qualify for financial aid will be notified of grant amount when registration confirmation is given in late June.
